I see 2 folks including Carlos have indicated that the December 20th is a good day, I can make it then also.
I guess the next step is to find out when carlos would be available, ie all day, morning, afternoon, or evening.
The next requirement is to find a location for the meetup, perhaps Carlos can provide us a contact to give us an idea as to the room requirements and av requirements, ie projector)
Lastly we need to gather the Corona users and interested parties in Central Florida.
I suggested using the building where I work at, which is located right in the middle of downtown orlando (64 E Concord St - http://g.co/maps/uerxw). Projector, wifi, parking all provided.
Of course, I’m game for any other location (however this one would be free, in case that’s a perk).
It’s about 8 miles from the airport, 8 miles from International (Universal studios area), and about 18 from Kissimmee (disney area). Sort of smack dab in the middle of Orlando.
I’d also suggest a late afternoon/evening meetup (4pm-ish)
For other suggestions, perhaps a loose agenda of what to discuss? e.g.
We’ve hosted events here with upwards of 60 people in our “lounge” so that shouldn’t be a problem. However, we would have to rent some chairs for that many.
Otherwise, if attendance is around 20-30, there are many more options, as we have a few different rooms to pick from. [import]uid: 49447 topic_id: 3281 reply_id: 66312[/import]
