@Rob : sry my bad sir…
i just feel sad and confussed a lot.
that was my project for graduate at college.
i hope there is any guide to setting my laptop
Is this a new Windows 10 PC or did you upgrade it from another version of Windows?
If it’s an upgraded you can try downgrading to Windows 8.1… Maybe that will help…?
More questions and things to try.
-
What version of Java is installed? This shouldn’t matter but we’re going to check and see. Is it a 32 bit version or a 64 bit version.
-
Was this computer working at one point and stopped? If so what changed?
-
What version of Corona SDK are you trying to use?
You also need make sure you have TLS enable for Internet Explorer:
- Click on the Windows “Start” menu.
- Type “Internet Options” and click enter.
- An “Internet Properties” window should now be displayed.
- Click on the “Advanced” tab.
- Under the “Settings” section, scroll down to the very bottom of the list.
- Make sure that the following are checked under the “Security Section”: “Use TLS 1.0”, “Use TLS 1.1”, “Use TLS 1.2”
- Click the “Apply” button.
- Attempt to log in via the Corona Simulator again.
Please make sure you are doing this for Internet Explorer, not Edge the new Microsoft default web browser in Windows 10. Even with the test above, you might think were were using Internet Explorer, but were using Edge instead.
Rob
On Windows 10 (or any Windows OS version), you can open Internet Explorer via the Start menu’s “run” field by typing in “iexplorer”. That’ll run the “iexplorer.exe” which is the actual Internet Explorer application.
Rob : im not upgrade it… im doing clean install via copy windows disk.
-
Im using JDK 8 32bit (jdk-8u74-windows-i586)
-
it work great until im try tu build, then simulator telling me to check internet
-
i try to install many version to check the connection isue : 2012.996.msi, 2016.2830.msi
-
i try check all TLS at internet option and uncheck proxy, but still no luck
Can you go to your preferences (File->Preferences) and choose “Deauthorize and Quit”. Then restart the simulator and login again. We’ve seen this message if you’ve changed your password after logging into the simulator.
@Rob : i cant deautorize and quite sir, because i need login first. So sad i cannot login.
btw i have several game that need login (steam:Dota 2, Seal Online) that can login normaly.
but corona simulator cannot login. Is there something wrong with my Java sir??
i also try to uninstal Xampp that maybe block the port, but still no luck…
Please don’t be offended but you are really confusing us. You said above: “it work great until im try tu build, then simulator telling me to check internet”. If you are able to use the Simulator and you are getting this error when you try to build, thats completely different than trying to start the simulator and being prompted to login and getting that message from the long screen. It can’t be both.
Are you able to start Corona SDK, see the welcome screen and open a project and work on it?
Are you getting the error when you tell the simulator to “Build” the app to put on a device?
Rob
@Rob : sry my bad sir…
i mean i try tu build, then the simulator telling to check the internet. (im in position login)
then i try to deauthorize and quite before installing other corona version, it say “please check your internet connection”. But im sucses to log out (im in position log out now)
then i try to log in again, simulator say “cannot connect to server. Please check your connection internet”
and till now i cannot login again sir
What about trying to reset your router to factory settings?
Ohh. That might be a problem…? Maybe the phone is blocking something…
@InfiSnyp : im not sure sir… i also try wifi at some cafe (my friend laptop can connect there), i still cannot connect
Hmm. I think windows 10 maybe installed the wireless drivers wrong. Can you reinstall them? You have tried powering off and on your laptop right?..
@InfiSnyp : im not reinstall it yet. Yes sir, i turn off/on normaly.
the other program can connect/login normaly, but corona simulator wont connect. Is there any IP/Dns/gateway i must setting sir??
I’m not saying reinstall windows. Just the drivers. Can you tell us what laptop you have?
@InfiSnyp : im using Acer E 14, sir
OS : Windows 10 pro 64bit (build, 10586)
