Can I deauthorize anyway without the simulator iteself on Mac?

Hi Aidin,

If you’d like, I can de-authorize all of your machines for you. Then, you can locate all of the “preferences” of Corona on your local machine (location depends on the platform) and try to re-login afterward. But if you have trouble de-authorizing locally, will you have trouble authorizing as well?

Brent

Hi Brent,

Thanks man. I really have no idea what will happen if you do that, as you anticipated, I may not be able to authorize again. Let me try some other options and if I can’t de-authorize, I’ll post here and ask you kindly to de-authorize from all my machines.

On a second thought, please do that and if you know how I can remove Corona authrosization settings from Mac and Windows, please do tell.

Cheers,

-Aidin

Hi Aidin,

I de-authorized your machines. Now try to re-authorize. It may not be necessary to delete any preferences… let’s just see what happens at this attempt.

Thanks,

Brent

Thanks, any idea how can I remove the Corona settings manual from both Windows and Mac?

* very polite bump *

@Brent,

I’m still trying to do this with no success. When I press the Deauthorize and Quit button, the window just closes!

I got the latest public build and tried with it, no luck. Even if I input an incorrect password, it doesn’t prompt any errors or anything. Is this normal?

I think it’s got into some bug or something because if I want to build, it asks for my password and if I put a wrong password, it returns with error but same thing doesn’t happen with Deauthorization. So I think the part with bad connection may be over.

If only I could remove my Corona settings from my mac. I searched the Library but it was just sample corona apps there.

Thanks guys.

I tried 2 different “cleaner” apps for mac with no luck. Tried to manually go to Preferences and Library and those kind of folders to find anything Corona related to remove, no luck.

I think my data is burned into my CPU.

I tried every public release that I had, like 4 of them, to try to do this, no luck.

Desperately crawling over the docs, I found this: http://developer.coronalabs.com/content/troubleshooting in which it said to do this:

Remove two files in ~/library/Preferences/ folder. (In Lion and later,
you can get to the Library folder by clicking on the Go menu in Finder
while holding down the Option key.):

com.anscamobile.ratatouille.plist

com.anscamobile.Corona_Simulator.plist

But I don’t have those files.

Hi Aidin,

Please check for the following folders/files and remove them:

[your home folder] > Library > Application Support > Corona

[your home folder] > Library > Application Support > Corona Simulator

[your home folder] > Library > Preferences > com.coronalabs.*

Note that to access your Library folder in more recent version of OS X, you need to directly “Go” there (Apple doesn’t want novices to be tinkering in there). So, from Finder, do this:

Go > Go to Folder… > ~/library

Let me know if this helps,

Brent

Thanks Brent, as posted before, already done those and there was no com.coronalabs.* or com.anscamobile.*

It FINALLY went away, god may not even know what fixed it but my best guess is there might be required restart somewhere but your mileage may vary because god only knows (and hope no one else does!) what I’ve done these past three days to fix this.

Thanks.

Hi there!

Can anyone deauthorize my computers, please?

Thanks,

Ionel

Hi @Ionel,

Can you please submit this same request to support@coronalabs.com? The support team will handle this for you, typically within 24 hours, and usually sooner. Remember to include your account e-mail/login credentials and so forth.

Best regards,

Brent

Hi Brent,

I already sent the email but I thought it would take minutes to remove the other computers from my account.

I wanted to continue working on my project, but it seems like I have to wait.

Thanks,

Ionel

PS: Ah, they were so quick, already removed them. It works now.
