The problem is with an upstream provider. We are waiting for them to solve the problem. There isn’t anything we can do on our end.
Rob
Seems like its working now. Not as fast as usual but it works
Works for me now too…thx
Happy New Year 2016
Has this issue been resolved? I am currently encountering that same issue
Thank you
I’m not aware of any current build issues. I just tried an iOS build and it worked. It could be a transient Internet issue.
But just in case, what version of Corona SDK are you using?
What Operating System are you building with?
What device are you building for?
What error messages are you getting?
Rob
It works fine here
Again, the build server throws an error 503 today, impossible to build anything…
mac =>
Webservices : XMLRPC request failed
pc =>
WebServices: Call system.connect failed in 1454237479 seconds: Service Unavailable
params: {
}
it’s ok now.
Guys,
I’m new to corona SDK, trying to build a sample to test on iPhone, and getting this error message, any help please?
ERROR: Cannot Login To Build Server: Unexpected connection error occurred: 4
If you are not connecting to the internet directly (for example, you connect via a proxy server) you might want to try a direct connection to see if that solves the problem.
Check the console for more information.
Hello @victordjey. Welcome to the Corona Labs forums.
We are going to need a little more help from you to help you.
Are you building on OS X or Windows?
What version of Corona SDK are you using?
Are there additional messages in the console log above this message?
Generally speaking, this sounds like something that happens on Windows more often than on Macs. Windows likes to setup a proxy, routing all network traffic through their own server before forwarding it on to the real server. This proxy doesn’t know how to pass all traffic to it. Basic web traffic works fine.
If you’re on Windows try going into your Internet Settings and see if you have a proxy turned on. If you do turn it off and see if that helps.

Hi Rob,
I’m using Mac Book Pro, OS X 10.10.5 , I downloaded the latest version of Corona recently, the dmg download says 2016.2830.dmg
This is my first time trying corona for iOS game and hopefully with Android later… appreciate all the help.
Thanks,
Victor
Its possible a Mac could have a proxy setup. Can you open up your system preferences panel, click on “Network”. Then make sure you have the right network selected in the left hand side of the panel and click on Advanced. On the next screen Click on the “Proxies” tab and see if you have anything selected?
Also a good test before you do that is to open Safari (not Firefox or Chrome or any other browser, but Safari) and see if you can get to http://developer.coronalabs.com
Rob
Rob,
I was able to visit http://developer.coronalabs.com from safari anyways I checked the network settings and unchecked Auto proxy discovery and tried buidling again, got the same error message.
Is it something do with email, should the provision file have the same email as Corona login email?
-Victor
You need to be logged into the simulator with the email you signed up with. You can do a Preferences->Deauthorize and Quit and try logging in again.
Thank You Rob, so that was the problem, it is all good now, it was a newbie error
I just started hopefully will be able to get familiar soon for an iOS game!
