Corona Cards for Visual Studio 2015

The download page is not available…

Rob…

This worked for me.

Can you try again?

Rob

No, Rob, I used the same, but didn’t work… in the .vsix file, nothing is mentioned about vs community. But succeeded with some tweaks …

Thanks…

The last release version (#2830) does not support Visual Studio 2015.

We added Visual Studio 2015 support to daily build #2845.  So, please use the newest daily build.

Editing the .vsix file to add 2015 in the manifest also will work even with 2830, Joshua

Well, I don’t suggest that you *hack* the vsix file, because if you run into any problems, then we’ll be less willing to help you since what you’re doing is untested.

The newest build was tested and confirmed to work on both VS2013 and VS2015 with both .NET 4.5 and .NET 4.6.

It also contains a work-around for Microsoft scaling bugs with Windows 10 Mobile devices/emulators that have a virtual navigation bar.

But when tried that daily build, the page not found error was shown. Anyway I will check if the link you sent me works. Then o.k. another thing is when I tried to port sdk project to cards, there were lot of problems. May be due to edited vsix file. I will check it. Thanks for the highly prompt reply and advice.

This link works…

And unfortunately CoronaCards for WP8 does not support all features supported by Android and iOS.  Please see the following link for which Lua APIs are supported.

  https://docs.coronalabs.com/daily/coronacards/wp8/support.html

And I suggest you go through our Getting Started guide first to verify that your dev environment is set up correctly.  It’s pretty easy/fast to get started.  Our project template comes with a working Corona Hello World sample app that you can immediately modify from there.

And then finally, you should go through our porting guide via the link below.  Just note that you’re expected to create a new project via the Getting Started guide above.

I hope this helps!
