Hello guys.
I am wondering if instead of having people post their app to be reviewed in the “Dev” Facebook page, we should not instead look at apps that shows up everyday on the CoronaLabs “showcase” page and review/rate those instead? I have to admit this Facebook page is becoming a monster!
I am not sure how many apps are coming out every day in the “showcase” (maybe 10 max) We could use our “number power” to give people a BIG boost when their apps when it get released and shows up on the “showcase” Corona page.
We could still use this facebook page for either accountability (shows who reviewed what) but also (and most importantly in my book) give constructive critics of the app.
Of course in a perfect word (Hi PEACH! Corona could have maybe a checkbox by the apps in the “showcase” that people could check when they review/rate an app there. This will allows to keep track of how many reviews people are getting.
Of course this only one my “crazy” idea I want to put out there…

As I said in the FB group as well…I agree with your idea @Mo Laird.
BTW it would be awesome and also I believe it would still help all the Corona Community even more than it already does. (looking forward for the option - check box - when submmiting the app to Corona Labs Showcase.

Hey no problem Peach. We all understand that CoronaLabs have many more urgent issues to deal with than adding a counter to each app on the showcase. We can still use the showcase a base to review app in a fair way but do it from here. Or as people have suggested, build a web site specifically to keep track of reviews. In most part the Facebook page is working but it just becoming unwielding by the day!
