Someone posted that their Intel 965 only supported OpenGL 1.5 (See: http://forums.coronalabs.com/topic/33611-tableview-if-the-top-row-is-a-category-it-appears-to-slightly-scroll-off-the-top-of-the-tableview/#entry215341). Perhaps this link might be of assistance:
confirmed that this chipset only supports up to OpenGL 1.5 I’ve got both a Thinkpad T61 and a MacBook Pro so at least half my laptops work with the new public build.
This will suck for anyone on a lesser spec’ed laptop who now is going to have to buy a new piece of hardware.
thanks a lot, it’s fun though - I dont want to upgrade hardware - is there the way to downgrade public build?
Same problem here on imac with osX and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M
The latest public (2100) works now! Thanks, I don’t need buy a new computer
The latest public (2100) still does not work on Mac OSX 10.9.
Same problem for me, latest public version crashes Could you add a parameter to run simulator in compatible mode for old specs? Thanks
Specs: Mobile Intel® 4 Series Express Chipset Family
Edit:
I’m not sure it’s because of OpenGL because I checked my computer and there’s OpenGL 2.1, so… ?
Do we need OpenGL 3.0 or more?
We can’t support older than OpenGL 2.0 because it engine is now based on OpenGL 2.0.

HI @agNedia.
What Mac are you running this on?
Can you click on the Apple in the top left corner, then click on “About this Mac”, then click on “More Info” and either post the information there or a screen shot (you probably should blur out/don’t include your Mac’s Serial Number).
Also if you start Corona using the “corona-terminal” app you should get a terminal window with messages in it. Anything there would be helpful and can you describe what “does not work” means?
Thanks
Rob
Ok, but it crashes on my laptop PC which is 2.1. It only works on my desktop PC which is 4.2. So, are you sure it’s based on OpenGL 2.0 and not more?
If i have an simple animation and do play on it, the error appears.
But if i have an animation composed by multiple sheets, setSequence to one of them and then play the animation, corona give me no errors.
No other change in the code.
Strange?
As for me it crashes even with one print()!
I have OpenGL 2.0 and have this problem, so i think maybe the problem its at another thing.
