CoronaComplete - IDE, Visual Debugger, Project Manager

guess ill have to wait for the MAS version ive tried 3 computers using 3 different browsers with 3 different cards and paypal with 2 different backup payment options

request to be able to save our own templates [import]uid: 7911 topic_id: 23144 reply_id: 94193[/import]

Big issue for me: closing CC while a file is unsaved does not prompt user to save. Just lost a bit of code by doing that accidentally. [import]uid: 132483 topic_id: 23144 reply_id: 94199[/import]

@lemsim - have a look at the debug video please - it at the bottom of www.coronacomplete.com
Also if that does not help I’m happy to have a look at your project to see whats going on, if you like

@Bruce Martin - will have a look at this - maybe i created a bug when i changed the implementation in order to work with projects that have spaces in the path. I actually want to make it so that you can set multiple paths to corona sdk so that you can test your project with multiple versions (daily builds)

@jstrahan - give me a mail please and will figure out why avangate does not want to process the transaction for you

@JonPM - there is an option to always ask the user to save files and by default it should save file automatically - will investigate this and fix it. Thanks [import]uid: 38119 topic_id: 23144 reply_id: 94202[/import]

Hello,
I am testing your product and would like to know if you plan to support autocomplete on packages created by the user or even included and not built in packages such as storyboard , etc?

Thanks [import]uid: 53864 topic_id: 23144 reply_id: 94441[/import]

Yes - i plan to make autocomplete aware of the user code in the loaded project. [import]uid: 38119 topic_id: 23144 reply_id: 94443[/import]

thx

edit
I tried using a business card and a personal card which I have used both last week for online purchases [import]uid: 7911 topic_id: 23144 reply_id: 94446[/import]

Looks really cool …
One dummy question : i tried command +R for launch with no success. Any shortcuts ? [import]uid: 9328 topic_id: 23144 reply_id: 94447[/import]

Hello, your product looks awesome, but the text is so small, there is no way at all I can work with this text setting. I updated to 1.04 but still no option to increase text size?

I have a 1920x1200 display on a macbook and by absolutely no means I am able to work like this for more that 2 minutes.
Also, custom syntax color would be helpful. I assume you are going to add these features, I hope custom text size will come very soon. [import]uid: 109677 topic_id: 23144 reply_id: 95226[/import]

Will add the text size option in a couple of hours and pull an update. For the syntax colors - they will come in the next few days.
Thanks for your feedback,
Bogdan [import]uid: 38119 topic_id: 23144 reply_id: 95234[/import]

As promised 1.05 update has been pushed which brings font options (font name and size). [import]uid: 38119 topic_id: 23144 reply_id: 95247[/import]

I just installed v1.05, and am now trying the program for the 1st time. I set a breakpoint in main.lua, but nothing happens, even though the simulator runs the game.

The console window shows:
Output string :: Whoops, that timer doesn’t exist!

I also added a print statement right at the beginning of main, but no output from that shows in the console window either.

UPDATE1: My fault, I didn’t save after adding the print. I sure would like to see a “Save” button right next to the Run button so I didn’t have to make all those extra mouse movements to the top of the screen to get to the save menu. And the “Save” button should have a indication that files need (or do not need) to be saved before running.

UPDATE2: Sorry. I now see that I have to click on Simulate and change it to Debug, then the breakpoint works. I guess that I should RTFM before complaining. Sorry.

I still would like that Save button. [import]uid: 23636 topic_id: 23144 reply_id: 95270[/import]

Will there be an Windows version ?

If yes, any timeline ?

Regards,
Damir. [import]uid: 108334 topic_id: 23144 reply_id: 95275[/import]

Hey Bruce,

If a file is modified - a “M” icon will appear next to it in the list of files.

Command-S is the shortcut for saving a file.

You are right, breakpoints only works with the debug scheme.

I will add that save all button next to the run button.
Windows version - sorry, no plan for one any time soon. [import]uid: 38119 topic_id: 23144 reply_id: 95351[/import]

What a brilliant product!

Looking at both CoronaComplete and Corona CIDER. Cider is more feature rich, but Complete seems to have a much better user interface. IMHO

Tough choice. Probably will give Complete a try.

I may have found a bug. I was working on a new lua file and I decided I wanted to open it in a new window.

Right-click on file-> open File In New Window and it’s a blank lua.

So I went back and clicked on file in the file browser to find out all of my work was gone. So a warning. Don’t open files in new windows when you haven’t saved! [import]uid: 54776 topic_id: 23144 reply_id: 95978[/import]

Sorry Richard,
I’ve tried everything but I cannot reproduce the bug. Do you have the latest version? [import]uid: 38119 topic_id: 23144 reply_id: 96039[/import]

Hello everybody,

I just pushed update 1.11 that brings syntax color support. Was asked for this feature by many of you guys.

Since this is a big release, I also reset the trial users. So you can go to www.coronacomplete.com and try CC again.

Here is the release notes for previous 2 versions

Version 1.11

  • Added settings for syntax highlight colors (many users request)

  • Added setting to start Corona SDK simulator in the foreground or in the background

  • Now Auto indentation works for both functions and if statements (auto adds tab)

  • Added list of functions in the help view so that you can navigate through the functions and read about it

Version 1.1

  • All Corona SDK functions and properties with help added to AutoComplete

  • Added Save All button in the toolbar (user request)

[import]uid: 38119 topic_id: 23144 reply_id: 96061[/import]

Yeah I do have the latest version. It might not even be a bug, I just didn’t save my newly created file when I tried to open it in a new window after working on it for a few minutes. I’ll just make sure I save it before doing that again. [import]uid: 54776 topic_id: 23144 reply_id: 96079[/import]

Would like to request ability to comment out multiple selected lines of code with one click (or key shortcut) [import]uid: 132483 topic_id: 23144 reply_id: 96226[/import]
