Icons (inc iOS7) made easy

Ah, sorry about that! All fixed now, enjoy!

File limit is 3MB, hopefully enough for everyone and yes in PNG format.

PERFECT!

THANK YOU!

Mo

Awesome, thanks!

I’m seeing this error message on when I click on the link.  I’m using Chrome browser.

Parse error : syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/appymast/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-exec-php/wp-exec-php.php(652) : eval()’d code on line  10

It’s back now, I was just making some improvements :slight_smile:

Hey thanks for this! it is awesome!

Is there any way you could include xhdpi & xxhdpi for android?

Thanx!

Thank you very much for your contribution.

By popular demand (chris_raz) I have now added creation of xhdpi & xxhdp icons as well.

Woohoo! thanks you! you are a legend :slight_smile:

Thanks, this is great! Thank you man, that’s what I needed :slight_smile:

This looks excellent and very timely for me! I’ll definitely be using it within the next week or so.

James,

This is awesome!! Thanks for this.  I do have one question.  I read through the icon names unless I am missing something two of them need a slight name modification.  Please correct me if i am wrong regarding this matter.

Icon-Small-40.png         >= 7.0   40 × 40   Search/Settings — all devices  (recommended)
Icon-Small-40@2x.png  >= 7.0   80 × 80   Search/Settings — all devices  (recommended)

The word “Small” is missing from the file names upon completion; not sure if it matters.  The above info is from the Corona Docs.

Again the tool is absolutely great and much appreciated.

Thanks

Rob

Hi Rob, you are right, for iOS 7 these were missing so I have added them in. I have left the Icon-40 and Icon-40@2 as they are still (as I understand it) required for iOS 6.

Spot on!

I’ve added some compression options which can be very worthwhile, however the choice is yours!

The way we have you set up your build.settings file, the names are really not that important.  The 40x40 and 80x80 are Spotlight-Search/Settings icons for the iPhone and iPod’s running iOS 7.  The 29x29 and 58x58 are used by the iPhones and iPods running iOS 6.1 or earlier.   The 50x50 and 100x100 are used by iPads **regardless** of what OS they are running.

We recommend naming them

Icon-Small-40.png

Icon-Small-40@2x.png

for consistency.  If our doc’s don’t say that, please hit the “Hate it” button at the bottom and let us know so we can fix it.

Thank you for this!!  This is a great time saver!
