IOS production build notice

What Mac version and Xcode version are you using people?

Sergey,

It looks like two of us posted this same topic at about the same time.  Mine was here and had a few more details:

https://forums.coronalabs.com/topic/58543-invalid-tool-chain/

This thread has gotten traction, so I closed that thread and am tagging my info on to this one:

So far, this is what I’ve tried:

  • Build Env - OS X - 10.10.4; Xcode 6.4
  • Corona Versions Tried:
    • 2015.2678
    • 2015.2692
    • 2015.2693 (latest daily)
  • Build Options Selected:
    • Build for
      • iOS
      • for Device
      • Universal
      • Distribution certificate selected
      • iOS SDK 8.4

xcode 6.4 and 10.10.4 for osx

I’m using the same settings as roaminggamer

I got this same error when uploading today using application loader:

"INFO ITMS-90111: “Invalid Toolchain. New apps and app updates must be built with the public (GM) versions of Xcode 6 or later, and iOS 8 SDK or later. Don’t submit apps built with beta software.”

Just tried another build and the issue may be resolved now…  perhaps the gremlins behind the scenes at coronalabs corrected the issue.

When i try to build:

Build failed:

A device build error occurred on the server.

BuildID: 55ccf5a75e4a3

Error: Template not found.

Build Number: 2015.2669

Platform: iphone

Platform Version: unknown

Template Type: basic

Gremlins … some good some not so much

We’re using Xcode 6.4 (6E35b)/iOS 8.4, and currently OS Yosemite 10.10.3. Getting this same error.

This problem looks to be resolved with build 2015.2693

I just built and uploaded w/o the error.

I am seeing this error today with

Corona build: 2782 & 2786 (latest)

Mac Version: El Capitan 10.11.1 & 10.11.2 (I tried two Macs, both failed)

XCode version: 7.2

I could submit an app about 10 days ago with the same configuration (Corona/Mac version), but fail to do so today.

ERROR ITMS-90534: "Invalid Toolchain. New apps and app updates must be built with the public (GM) versions of Xcode 6 or later, and iOS 8 SDK or later. iOS 9 apps for internal TestFlight testers must be built with the latest seed of the iOS SDK and uploaded with the latest seed of Xcode."

In Corona build menu, you have “9.1 (install XCode 7.1 to enable)” & “9.2 beta”.

I think both are outdated. Now 9.2 is already available (no more beta) and XCode is already 7.2.

Corona, please investigate.

I solved it by download the older version Xcode (I downloaded 7.2.1 version), after downloading it, it allows the Corona Simulator build the apps at IOS SDK lower version (9.2, not 9.3beta).

Hope this tips help you, cheers

@Stone, 7.2.1 can be run on El Capitan?
