Lua Glider for Corona® v 1.7 Released! -Discounts Included

@primoz,

Thanks for your interest. Perhaps could you show us a simple test case so we can replicate the problem?

“Will you add if at all possible source level on device debugging?”
Sorry but this is not possible. We tried doing this already but the Lua source files are not available on the device builds probably for code security. It may be possible to do if there was a special build that includes the Lua source files. The debugger simply does not know where it is so breakpoints, call stacks, variable dumps etc do not work.

I will try to put together an example demonstrating the problem.

As for debugging, have you heard anything from corona about this. Do they plan to support debug builds with source traces in the future? [import]uid: 137090 topic_id: 31042 reply_id: 127297[/import]

Any Discount code availiable? [import]uid: 22631 topic_id: 31042 reply_id: 127308[/import]

Hi M.Y. Developers,

Is it support Umlauts ?

I will buy Lua glider this weekend as it is a great tool, though I do have an issue with it that maybe you can help me solve. Every time the program stops at a break point the variables are shown correctly, but if I step over or run to next break point the variables do not get updated? Do you have any idea why this would be?

And a feature question that many would like to see and would bring you a large customer base.
Will you add if at all possible source level on device debugging?

@primoz,

Thanks! Please email us a test case at mydevelopergames (at) gmail.
I am not sure on device debugging will be supported. It would be nice to have a debug only build that unlocks functions such as this and loadstring. In theory if dynamic code was enabled it could even allow instant test on device like Gideros SDK does.

@raymondcheng,
Sorry, all discount codes are used up.
“Is it support Umlauts ?”
It supports UTF-8 encoded files so it should. Please try the trial to make sure.

Just got LuaGlider, very powerful debug tool, thanks.

One thing though,

How can we change the color of the ‘filenames’ appeared on the Editor Window’s tabs, or in the Projects/Files Window?

I chose the BlackEye theme and the filenames’ are colored blue in default, making it very difficult to tell. [import]uid: 44389 topic_id: 31042 reply_id: 130697[/import]

Hello Dorpha,

Thanks for your interest. You will need to restart Glider IDE whenever you change the look and feel. After this it should display the colors properly. Please let us know if that works.

It’s not the issue of restarting the IDE.
See the attached image sent to your gmail earlier today.

Also check this out:
http://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=20828

The above thread explains exactly the problem, and I even patched the IDE using the .jar file provided in the thread, with no vial.

Sounds like Synthetica’s BlackEye is obsolete; you might wanna consider replacing this dark theme with a more decent and maintained one.
