Does anybody have problems with sluggish keyboard input to the widget candy text field. My text input lags so badly that I cannot use it. If I type fast only about 50% of the “keystrokes” are actually registered.
At first I got good support from X-pressive, but suddenly they stopped answering my mails altogether… 
I have now tried to reach them about 4-5 times over a period of 2-3 weeks, but have got no response (that was over a month ago).
When I use Widget Candy, it will stop the external music.
For example, if an user is playing a song from iTunes and then he starts my app, my app will stop his iTunes song from playing.
If I remove Widget Candy initialization, the song continues (Corona SDK does not stop it)
Is there any way to make Widget Candy not to stop external music?

Any word on multiline input text boxes? I am converting an existing app to widget candy so I can remove native fields for publishing on windows 8 and need a solution for multiline input boxes.
I’ve stopped using Widget Candy as it’s obviously is no longer developed/supported.
Have you found any working alternatives to native text boxes/field, etc?
None that’s working.
Corona R-E-A-L-L-Y sucks sideways when it comes to text fields. I cannot believe they have the nerve to release such a flawed SDK and actually market it as a tool for creating “Business Apps”.
Corona is really good for many things, but the handling of text fields is crap. And I’m not afraid to say it

webView sucks too. You can’t make a decent business app that uses this webView component.
+1 its hopeless at the moment
