New Features in Corona Project Manager

Cool! That’s what I like to hear!

There have been a few issues found with the latest release but I think most of them have been bashed at this point. I should have a new build for beta testers tomorrow and if all goes well that one will *probably* be the next official release.

Do you like playing on the bleeding edge???

The beta version of Corona Project Manager 2.0.0 is available.

http://coronaprojectmanager.com/files/CoronaProjectManager200.zip
(Should only work for registered owners.)

Before installing and running that for the first time, PLEASE back up your CPM database. This version makes MASSIVE changes to the database and while it hasn’t broken my install, it also hasn’t been tested by anyone else yet.

The cpm.rsd file is the database and can be found at /Users/YOU/Library/Application Support/Corona Project Manager

In that location are a few other files, but cpm.rsd is the only one you really need to back up. Just copy it somewhere safe so you can copy it back if you need to.

If the new version loads and runs fine you’ll see two folders in place of the projects – My Projects and Sample Code. Inside each of those will be your existing projects (Inside Sample Code will be any projects where you had the “Treat as Sample Code” checkbox set).

Let me know pretty quickly whether it looks like the upgrade went okay and then start pounding on it.

Thanks.

Jay

PS - Again, if you’re not comfortable with beta software just wait for a few days until it’s an official release. [import]uid: 9440 topic_id: 4020 reply_id: 15668[/import]

This tool has surpassed all my expectations so far. Jay thanks for making my Corona experience such a pleasant one from day 1.

No offense intended to ANSCA but as good as Corona is, it just needs to go with CPM! [import]uid: 11904 topic_id: 4020 reply_id: 16085[/import]
