Can you check what version of Corona and what version of Xcode are installed? I’ve not used Macincloud before but know many developers do without issue. [import]uid: 52491 topic_id: 33164 reply_id: 131685[/import]
Peach,
The versions as you requested:
Xcode: Version 4.5.2 (4G2008a)
Corona SDK: Build 2012.894
Thanks

Hi! I was just going to post about the same thing. Tried Macincloud yesterday:
The display is completely blank, no matter if it´s the welcome screen, or the iPhone skin or whatever program.
However, Menu and the Terminal window seems to work properly, and build works, so it is propably just the display error.
I tried both Corona 2012.894 and the build 2012.971.
I read from somewhere that it might be because they don´t have display installed on their mac (if you check the info about the mac in macincloud).
Is this a Corona related bug, macincloud bug, Apple bug or my Windows 7 related? Anyone? [import]uid: 103571 topic_id: 33164 reply_id: 131746[/import]
Thanks for the info. I’m glad someone else is having the same issue Misery loves company
I’m curious how did you try build 2012.971? Were you able to install it? From what I was seeing anything that appeared to change the system needed an administrator account but again I’m new to Mac so probably me just not knowing something.

My first time using the mac also
I used it´s Safari, and went to Corona website to download the SDK. After that there´s this screen saying I should drag the install file to applications folder (or something like that). If you do that, it asks for Admin stuff. But luckily I just dragged it to the desktop, it seemed to work fine also there.
I read somewhere that when using vmware or some other virtual mac on PC, there might be some similar symptons also (black display on Corona).
Fortunately, I think we are still able to use macincloud to build ready-made-code to iOS, but it´s just annoying if you can´t see anything on the display skin to check if your app works properly or not. [import]uid: 103571 topic_id: 33164 reply_id: 131750[/import]

Hey guys, will see if I can get any info on this - until then, have you contacted Macincloud support? [import]uid: 52491 topic_id: 33164 reply_id: 131833[/import]
I opened a ticket two days ago. Still not feedback as of yet though.

Hopefully you hear back soon; perhaps a little slow down with Thanksgiving week. I have passed this on to the rest of the team to see if anyone has any ideas. [import]uid: 52491 topic_id: 33164 reply_id: 131978[/import]

I also opened a ticket 10 days ago, so far got a message that they are investigating it.
I was just playing with macincloud, and noticed that if I Zoom in / out my simulator display, it will sometimes show something. Also after BUILD my app becomes partly visible on the screen, but nothing moves.
However, good news is that XCODE simulator is showing it properly (you can build the app for xcode and try it there). [import]uid: 103571 topic_id: 33164 reply_id: 133123[/import]

Working now!
I was moved to another server or something, and the simulator display works well now!
Just testing my app there. Noticed that Windows simulator iOS and Mac simulator iOS had some of the graphics scaled differently. Might be dynamic scaling issue or just my typing error (investigating more), but good to check everything there also before building. [import]uid: 103571 topic_id: 33164 reply_id: 133530[/import]
