We figured out the loading and link problem for remote web pages. The fix is in build 741. We are still looking at the local web page loading issue. [import]uid: 7559 topic_id: 21092 reply_id: 85314[/import]

Hey, it seems as though newWebView is broken again? When I try to use it I get an error:

attempt to call field ‘newWebView’ (a nil value)

This is using build 746. Using the same code, (original post), which was broken but then got fixed. [import]uid: 96383 topic_id: 21092 reply_id: 86539[/import]

There is still happening a crash if you try to remove the WebView while the page is still loading. I can’t really build a new test case because it is all about timing. The crash happens only on device. Simulator seems to work perfectly. I tested two builds: 2013.1210 and 2013.1137.

Hi @polygonblog.  You should still post a bug report on it.  Just make sure when you write up the description you talk about it being a timing issue and how to reproduce it.
