Hello

My game have a bug, and I report to

(Case 42144) data in system.DocumentsDirectory miss

Can you check this?

Thank you

Our engineers are very likely going to reject your bug report for a few reasons.

First, bug reports **MUST** contain a sample project that demonstrates the problem.  That is you have to provide a main.lua, a config.lua, build.settings and any data (Images, audio, etc.) needed to load the project in the simulator and run it.  This must be put into a .zip file and submitted.

Next this sample project has to be the simplest example of how to reproduce a bug in **our code**.  Don’t submit your entire project. You have to take the time to give us something where we can see the bug in our code happen so the engineers can fix it.

Bug reporting is not used for debugging your code. There are no known bugs for any of the API’s involved in saving data (system.pathForFile, io.* etc.) if you use them as documented.  And if I’m being honest, after reading your bug report, it looks like you are looking for us to debug your code.

If you want help with your program to find out what’s wrong, don’t submit a bug, but rather post a question to the forums asking the community to help you.  Read this post:  https://forums.coronalabs.com/topic/55780-ask-a-better-question-get-a-better-answer/

It will guide you to ask a good question to better your chances of getting a good answer.
