I think that Michigan is going to lose huge to Ohio State. And Brady Hoke and his entire uninspired staff should be let go.
Whomever the AD for michigan is should be let go too.
I wonder, do I have to wait 12 hours between each response?
alma mater we thy children pledge our hearts to thee.
First rich rod then brady. these are two huge mistakes by an ad. What is he held accountable for if not this?
through the years that lie before us faithful we will be. Ha ha ha ha ha!!!
Sooooo… the file C:\Program Files\Corona Labs\Corona SDK\Corona.Debugger.exe exists and yet I still get an error. Oddd don’t you think. or do you!
To be honest, the fact that you start spamming your own thread does not help - even if you feel that there are too few responses.
I appreciate the encouraging words. Thanks.
Hi @rvergin3,
Please understand, staff responds to posts during our working hours, and sometimes after/between working hours too, but we (try) to lead normal lives too, ha ha. So, sometimes it takes more than a few hours, or a couple days even, to respond to some issues, and the delay is not necessarily intentional.
In complex cases like this, we need to step back to the basics. Please try loading the Simulator the “normal” way… not using Outlaw or any other IDE… and attempt to load the “Hello World” sample app, located in the application’s directory here:
CoronaSDK > SampleCode > GettingStarted > HelloWorld
Try this and report back what happens.

I am unable to get the simulator to run I get the unhandled win32 exception again.
This does’t make sense. I am able to run 1232 and not 2xxx
Hi @rvergin3,
I don’t believe we’ve heard reports similar to this yet, so it could be some kind of OpenGL driver issue with Parallels. I’ve used Parallels in the past and I know that it does “best effort” to simulate the Windows environment/OS, but there are various issues depending on the software running therein.
I am curious, as per another responder… is there a specific reason you want to emulate the Windows version of Corona SDK instead of running the native OS X version?
Best regards,
Brent
I support several versions of windows concurrently as well as mac and now mobile. I find the macbook pro running parallels is more stable and versatile. I spend more time in windows developing and working with data so I just naturally wanted to develop using corona in windows. I guess I will have to get used to the mac.
Can you make sure your OpenGL drivers are up to date and support OpenGL 2?
Thanks
Rob
Parallels using NVIDIA GeForce 9400M OpenGL Engine. 256MB. OpenGL 2.1 NVIDIA-7. 8.0 build 18608898384 Forceware 8.0 build 18608898384 17-Jul-13. When I check for updates It doesn’t find any.
Thanks,
Reed
Back in the top post, you said you are using Outlaw. Is that still the case? Have you tried this outside of outlaw? Corona SDK shouldn’t be loading the debugger I don’t think.
Try running Corona outside of Outlaw and see if you still have the problem
