Hi everyone - thank you very much for the feedback. We really mean that.
We’ve definitely had some hiccups in the last day since the launch. On the backend (forums and the like) we are dealing with some non-optimal decisions that were made a couple of years ago and we are trying to sort it out as much as possible. We are working hard on it and it should all get better in the next few days. So please bear with us. We are already working to fix many of the things mentioned above.
Most importantly - the build system is independent, so building your apps will not be affected in any way.
Thanks again.

Re: old vs new API docs
Some good news! The new API index now has a complete listing of all API’s just like the old reference.
We did this in response to feedback we received via the “Love it, Like it, Hate it” feedback forms on the bottom of each API web page.
The beauty of the new API is more than skin deep. We did a lot of infrastructure so we can make changes instantaneously!

@walter: Thanks for listening and for doing something about it. The fixed API index is WAY better. Hope you’ll bring back the dropdown menus and the way the old forum-activity was displayed as well.
Thanks. [import]uid: 129287 topic_id: 27513 reply_id: 111905[/import]
Here are my suggestions to improve the look of the forum index page:
If you get rid of borders around tables you get rid of that plain old look, I’ve moved the alternative color for each second row closer to first so that contrast between them is not that big, its easier on the eye and fits better, especially since you dont use alternative row colors when viewing the specific post.
I also got rid of shadows you had on div id=“contentBody”, it does not really look that good, too me its really cheep photoshop effect that ads nothing atleast on this page. I recomend you remove that, instead of adding depth it actually makes page more flat and cheep.
Second image is suggestion for Recent forum activity. Get rid of bold you use on those posts, no one wants to read a column of post titles in bold letters, its ugly and amateur. Also got rid of border and round borders in that row as well, since its too much and it was not done in a way that really fits with webpage design.
I suggest you implement some of these suggestions to get better look. Your whole page should breath polish, slick, cool, nothing should be boring about it. Remember you are trying to reach out to artists, design studios, etc and if anything can turn them away is amateur design in their mind reading like you did not have money to get better design.

Hi
here I am again this time to make a suggestion on the blog design.
You have used font size 16px, it looks out of place and its not consistent with for example rightbar fontsize neither the fontsize of the comments below. Fontsize 16px is giagantic and its not very readable and makes the blog look ugly and amateurlike. So please take a look at the screenshots below to see my suggestion which will make blog easier on eyes and more enjoyable to read.
on the left 15px and on the right original 16px

here I used 14px, which looks equally good as 15px if not better.

Dont use 16px, its very ugly! Please update that and blog will look much better. [import]uid: 13099 topic_id: 27513 reply_id: 113546[/import]
I’d really like some quick drop-downs. Having to go to Community page, then the Forum page is just wasted steps.
Also, I’ve given up on searching through the internal search and just used the address bar (Chrome’s Google search bar, in this case) and type anscamobile: transition.to
or coronalabs: iosinfo
I’d rather type more keystrokes to get the right answer on the first shot, rather than a search engine fail me most of the time.

What about this:
* Autologin to the website - not a mission to the moon exactly
* The page from the old site, where you could “track” old forum entries?
* When I am logging in, the personal “top” navigation doesn’t show - if I don’t change page.
* The search, sort the result by post date so that it is easy to get the latest information. I am not interested in solutions from 2010 when I am running the latest builds.

Guys - thanks again for all the feedback. We are working through this.
BeyondTheTech - quick question. When you say the site search is failing you, why is this? [import]uid: 10668 topic_id: 27513 reply_id: 113693[/import]
It was giving a lot of unrelated or useless results, but I just tried it and it seems to be working a lot better. Thanks! [import]uid: 6084 topic_id: 27513 reply_id: 113696[/import]
I would like to add one suggestion.
For the top bar that shows:
"News Dashboard Daily Builds Documentation Account Report A Bug Road Map Log-out"
I think out of those, Road Map would be the least used. I suggest replacing it with Forum. We’ll click on it occasionally, either sigh or get excited, and move on. All the others would probably be pretty useful on a regular basis.
As of now, I have to click on Community , then scroll down a wee bit to Forum , which is just an unnecessary step.

Hi everyone - we are still working on different fixes and improvements to the site. For now, you will see that
We are working on more things. Let us know if you have any more feedback.
Thanks! [import]uid: 10668 topic_id: 27513 reply_id: 113993[/import]
@BeyondTheTech - just noticed that you had just requested replacing Roadmap with Forum. That is actually what we just did (without realizing that you had just asked for it :). Good idea! [import]uid: 10668 topic_id: 27513 reply_id: 113994[/import]
Uh… what happened? It’s back to Road Map. [import]uid: 6084 topic_id: 27513 reply_id: 114219[/import]
No, forum is still there - try emptying your cache in your browser. That could do the trick?
Joakim [import]uid: 81188 topic_id: 27513 reply_id: 114221[/import]
That fixed it, but it was weird since I saw the changes previously on my MacBook and thought that was that. [import]uid: 6084 topic_id: 27513 reply_id: 114225[/import]
Am I the only one hoping that the roadmap actually becomes a useful feature to highlight where Corona is heading - have high hopes that the new roadmap will give developers a clear understanding of the future when it makes a comeback. [import]uid: 33275 topic_id: 27513 reply_id: 114226[/import]
Segaboy - yes, the roadmap will definitely become useful. Stay tuned.
BeyondTheTech - not sure what happened there. Most likely a cache issue.
