The same three devices I use are still registered… Last week, I did the certification/provisioning for my first app and it’s now approved and in the App Store. Nothing has changed since then.

The app I worked up last week was provisioned with an App Store provisioning profile. I sent in the zip file O.K. but, was unable to load the app on my iPads. Prior to the final prep for App Store, I did have success when I made a development profile for testing. Maybe I should try a development profile instead of the store/ad hoc profile?

You cannot use a “For the store” provisioning profile for testing on device.  It’s only valid in the store.  You have to use either a development profile or an AdHoc profile for testing on device.

The invalid signature is showing up on the AdHoc profile.

Can you do a screen shot of your profiles in the provisioning portal and a screen shot of your Corona SDK build screen?

Hi Rob, I ended up cleaning up my Key Chain and recreated a certificate and provisioning profile and it all worked good.

One more question here: Do you simply download and reuse your Distribution and Development certificates for all your apps?

Yes, I use the same certificates for all of my apps.  Each app though has it’s own unique provisioning profile.

How do you clear out unwanted Code Signing Identities from the BUILD window? I have multiple ones from earlier attempts. Appreciate your help.

You would go to the folder ~/Library/MobileDevice/Provisioning Profiles

and remove the ones you want to get rid of.

I’m considering trashing and recreating certificates and making new provisioning profiles at this point. I have one app in the App Store at the present … will it matter when I deliver the next version (1.1) that it’s built with a different certificate?

It should not.  You have to re-create new certificates every year and you can update apps after doing that.  Which reminds me, I need to do mine this weekend too, :slight_smile:
