+1 Top down racing sample!!

Also everyone asking for Doodle Jump here is an tutorial on how to make your own one… http://www.raywenderlich.com/4885/how-to-make-a-game-like-doodle-jump-with-corona-tutorial-part-1 [import]uid: 90369 topic_id: 14261 reply_id: 67659[/import]

I would like to see some example that show how your might touch-drag and object along a predetermined path.

Also; maybe drag an object into another and have them join; so they then drag together. With another touch point to separate them back into two individual objects.

If this is already shown somewhere I do apologize missing the example.

I hope that makes sense Danny

Thanks

Make it easy on Anscamobile…

The semiconductor industry frequently has design & implementation contests for best designs using their chips or eval boards with their chips.

Typically a Grandprize winner of ~$2K, and the top 10 with first place ~$1500, second prize ~$1000, third place ~$500. The next 7 places are ~$250, with a handful of honorable mentions with consolation prizes. Maybe all submissions that are recognized for a prize or honorably mentioned would get a free Complete bundle subscription for a year.

We would see a flood of great software from the community. Ansca could establish the design and review criteria to include certain minimum features or API’s. All submission would be under the MIT license.

It’s a cheap and easy way to drive marketing exposure, grow the template list, and showcase the community for marketing & sales purposes. These contest programs have an impact of activating the installed base community and grow adoption as prize money goes Internet viral.

+1 on the predetermined path.

Something similar to keyframe animation.

Animation using more than two points without the need to resort to spritesheets.
preferably faking keyframe animation.
I saw an example on the example code section where you have to create each position point pixel per pixel. Which is still better than nothing. Something like that included in the sdk would be nice for other people. That way they wouldn’t need to look for it and it would be clear for them Corona can’t do animation like Objective-C cocoa. Yet.

Hey Danny,

I don’t request very much if anything, but a nice hidden object adventure type game, with a complete inventory system, with puzzles…etc…(you know…)

…and a “little keebler elf” to do all the graphics thrown in would be a nice touch…
Thanks Danny your the best,
Larry
