Have you used Glider since re-installing?
I haven’t been able to repro the OPs problems but I’ve definitely found a case where Corona will restart multiple times. 1. Create some code that has two errors.
2. Run the code so you get the popup message
3. “Continue” - leads to error #2
4. Fix and save the code.
5. Relaunch
Result: Corona reloads twice in instant succession. (You can tell from the console)
Thanks Richard…
Hello Rob,
The problem seems to occur when launching from the command line. The main chunk is always executed twice. Please see the screenshot below, even without Glider (just running a Corona sample from command line) this behavior occurs.

Btw, the forum won’t let me post the image above, it keeps saying “can’t post image with that extension”

Situation Update, New video card fixed one corona problem but it is still launching the simulator code twice at startup. So it’s been 2 months since I reported this bug and no solution. Has anyone got a clue on what could be causing it?
Thanks!
Stu

Has your problem been resolved yet? I just have the same problem recently and so far no solution. But when I run my app outside of Glider and directly from the simulator, the double run does not happen. I also tried re-installing Corona but it’s the same thing.

I understand this is only an issue on Windows. If I understand it correctly, it’s caused by the way Corona is executed on the command line with certain parameters passed (which Glider needs to do). And this causes the double prints.
I’m not sure if any one has filed this as a bug or not.
