Will Corona work on OS X Lion?

Had to actually “show contents” of the “install Xcode” app and then run the package from there and the custom came up and everything works now.

Can anyone confirm that the trial release (484) is stable on Lion. To me at the moment, inability to build for device doesn’t affect me.

I am using the latest daily build on OS X Lion and the sound in my game works fine in the simulator, but as soon as I try it on my iPod, the sound doesn’t play properly. It just stops randomly. We have no reports of audio problems like you describe and your problem is probably completely unrelated to Lion. Please submit a full bug report including iOS version and reproducible test case here:

If the problem is iOS 5 beta only, please submit a bug directly with Apple instead.

Lion + Cor sdk (stable build)= works.

This is on my hackintosh though (an 8 core intel based server with 12 gigs of ram - basically a PC with Mac installed on it)
What’s really funny is it’s NOT working on a real mac I have access to, which is fine that thing only has 2 gigs of ram and 2ghz cpu.

I am not to worried about it though, It appears from this thread others got it working so I may just rip out everything and put it back and try some of the daily builds.

I figured if my app sells well enough, I’ll buy a real macbook pro for mobile dev and keep my server as it is :slight_smile:

Took me a bit to realize that when you download the new Xcode off of the app store, it puts the “Xcode Installer” icon on Lion’s new launchpad, even though in the store it looks like it is installing it for you. Unless your app launch is days away, there’s really no need to. Just gotta make sure to install the latest Xcode off of the app store. That is a 3GB download though.

In regards to Lion, My MacBook seems to boot a tiny bit slower but overall I’m not really using the features it came with. At $30 though it’s a steal if you compare what you get for $30 nowadays. [import]uid: 31262 topic_id: 12390 reply_id: 48844[/import]

I upgraded to Lion and have not had any issues with it. I used one of the newer test builds.

I did have to update Xcode first though.

It does tell me i should upgrade to full when i build apps though, but it builds for distribution just fine. I am sure that will be fixed soon enough if not already. [import]uid: 39391 topic_id: 12390 reply_id: 48963[/import]

Thanks Aaron. I found your site and had a look at your app, I like the gameplay and variety of objects, it gets a bit hard for my pea-sized brain a bit later on though :slight_smile: Graphics can be improved.
