Corona is a great developing tool but really lacks monetization solutions.
As in-app billing is not available in my country (for Android) I can’t find a good solution.
Hope the Enterprise will open this space.

In this version we uploaded a improved version of Fullscreen ad. In this release we gave up the webpopup approach and packed together the assets to avoid higher loading times.

@ubj3d.android I think you’re app needs way more traffic/downloads. These are my results so far for just the popup ad. I have it come up as soon as the app opens and that’s all. I’m also only on iOS. Haven’t even touched the Android market yet.

Please make also lite version of this package. Its quite large. For some smaller projects like free simple game or app additional 1-2 MB makes a difference. Not all languages are needed in lite version i think.

Does it mean that we do not have any more the “pop-up” RevMob Ads, only FullScreen?
I think I misunderstand you but if am right I dislike that as I only use the pop-ups instead the fullscreen (even though I know the fullscreens ads are better for profits).

Remember guys that the “profit” on Android (Google Play for example) are 1/4 or more of the same profit on iOS devices.

The game has 4,5 rating on Google Play (81% 5 stars)
The game has some very nice reviews from gaming sites and even an Editor pick + great comment from Ansca stuff.

@RevMob I appreciate what you guys are doing with the rapid updates, but it’s important that you understand you can’t remove options out of nowhere with no warning. That’s the equivalent of yanking the rug from under us. Many of us have put the pop-ups in our games or prefer it over the full screen option. If you want to add new features, that’s fine, but once you’ve released something to us you’re committed to supporting it for awhile with at least bug fixes and such. @lamargodev0 – can you try downloading the latest Corona SDK and see if it solves the issue? Yes, as @jinwchen advised, the more info we have the easier we can find out what’s going on.
@rmckee282002 – congratulations! make sure you start showing the Fullscreens when the app is opened, also from multitasking.

@ubj3d.android – iOS eCPM is still higher, but you can surpass $10 eCPM on Android if you follow the best practices:
- integrate the new instant fullscreens available in the latest SDK at http://revmob.com
- show the new instant Fullscreens one time per session right when the session begins, including from multitasking
- try to build a user base with more US,UK,AU and CA presence because bids are higher in those countries

@RSCdev – Rodrigo, the popups are still supported. The term “webpopup” refers to the technical term used in Corona, which doesn’t have relation to the RevMob popups

Just by taking a quick look at the new revmob.lua you can see that the pop-ups are still there. What guischv probably meant was that RevMob is more concerned about improving the fullscreen ad unit (that is doing great everywhere except in shitty corona), instead of improving pop-ups, which are already showing great results.
And checking out the big zip file, you can also see that it is mainly from jpg files containing fullscreen ads in dozens of languages. Maybe gui could clarify if we want to set english as default (thus only english.jpg), we could delete all the others.
All my iOS apps are still doing great with RevMob. For every 10$ I get from in-app purchases, I get 100$ from RevMob. Android, on the other hand, still sucks. Almost no revenue (but a lot less app movement also).
Hope to put fullscreen in use soon to test it.

@guischv tried build 804 with latest RevMob update and still nothing. It shows in the simulator still but not on real devices. I tried popups and fullscreen. I got an error with fullscreen as well

I have got pretty lucky with one of my apps in the last week, for some reason it’s taken off in the Saudi Arabian market! I wish I knew why, it was actually my entry for the Techority 48-hour challenge that I released for the hell of it, and therefore it’s both pleasing and frustrating in equal measure that a pretty simple game with sub-par graphics that took 2 days to make is doing far better than apps I spent months working on.
