$10 eCPM GUARANTEED. Meet RevMob!

My friend @Mo I would go on by the B route all the way (even knowing about some “bad views” regarding making the game free later on the paid one - I really would not care about it anyway). It is really what I could do for me by my own so it is what I also recommend BUT you know, this is my personal opinion only.

Best wishes on downloads, sales and I wish you get RICH mate!

Stress less and Have Fun!

PS: Also I would like to say to you is that "better than using RevMob is just using RevMob! These guys and their service are great - go for it.

@Rodrigo You are always amazingly helpful in your answers and I appreciate that. Thank you for your fast answer.

I kind of agree with you that releasing a free version few weeks later is probably better in term of marketing. If I release the free version later then I can test it a little more since i just re-implemented the Revmob code and I did not have much time fully testing it. I will also more data points from the paid version to see if I need to make any changes from the hopefully few reviews/ratings.

Thank you for your wishes on the paid app. I am not going to have my hope too high since this my first and only app in the store. But l learn so much (like not spending billions of year on one app!) I will tweet when the app is ready for release:)

THANKS Rodrigo!

Mo

ps: I 100% agree about Revmob. I cannot complain about the support I have been getting from them. Great stuff. [import]uid: 100814 topic_id: 25797 reply_id: 134569[/import]

Hey guys, I just wanted to share with you my experience on RevMob.

At first I have some troubles with the SDK, it was simply not working for the daily build I was using, I contacted service support, and post about it in this same topic. Their response time was great, non long waits, and the SDK was repaired some days after we had reported this issues.
After the SDK was ready I decided to give it a try, I have released my app using revmob about 1 week ago, and I know it is not too much time to start talking, but the results were impressive, I made more in 1 week with the same app than in 2 months with inneractive, and I’m just starting in this business. My numbers are still very low, but they are starting to make more sense now.

As of today I’m trying RevMob and also LunarAds, both are performing great, I’ll let you know if they were as great as they are promising to be as soon as more time passes by. [import]uid: 112380 topic_id: 25797 reply_id: 134572[/import]

@Rodrigo: I better listen to you! You are one the one who is already using Revmob. It is kind of pity i could release the free version before Christmas (because of my issue of implementation) So i will need to wait to get the benefit of Revmob. 2013 here I come:) We will see how the paid fair during the Holidays…
@juan.csdc Thank you very much for sharing your info. That’s great to hear. What is your app? Would love to help out with a review.

Hello guys.

I need some suggestions! As I said earlier I had to unfortunately remove all Revmob code (not because of Revmob but my own inadequate code to implement the way I wanted) So I made my first app paid and it is waiting in review.

In the meantime I worked on figuring the problems with my Revmob powered app (free) and I think i found a better way to implement it. It seems to work ok (at least the little tests I have done)

My question:

A: Should I release both the Revmob (free) and the paid one at the same time before the Apple cuttoff date of 12/21/2012? (assuming I can get Apple to accept my Revmob version in time) and then compare data on which one did well over the holidays (I will assume the free one!)

B: Release the paid version now and then wait until Apple opens up again in December 28th and release the free version (Revmob)? That way I “could” get a boost because the app will also be available free.

Any suggestions will be greatly useful since I have no idea how the Holidays affect people behavior in term of app buying. I will think they will be less reticent to get an paid app during that time but that just a hunch. Are people more likely to get a paid app than other time of the year?

Thanks a lot.

Hi,

I’m wondering if there’s something you could do to show users that they have clicked on the banner?
Right now it can take quite a few seconds between user tapping on the ad and opening the appropriate appstore.
It takes so long, that users get annoyed and think that app has crashed.

I don’t think there’s a need for something huge, just something that would let them know they have already tapped.

Hi,

I have implement the adlink functionality in combination with an alert box " free games, blabla…" with two buttons. If the user presses ‘Ok’ then the adlink is activated. The other ‘No, thanks’ button will just close the alert box.

My Question:

In context with adlink what does ‘Impressions’ and ‘clicked’ mean? I’m asking because I get strange results in the revmob dashboard. Sometimes I have more clicks then impressions.

I get quite some impressions and clicks but almost no downloads. I find this strange because users make the decision to click on ‘ok’ to download a game…but almost no downloads.

@ivke2006

If a user clicks it means they will see the free game in the appstore, but that doesn’t mean they want to install it.

It’s what you said, they click because they want to download A game, not just any game. They decide that as soon as they get the info displayed in the appstore.

I agree though, I wish the install ratio was higher, last day I had 87 clicks and just 1 install .

Don’t know what the average install ratio is, maybe somebody want to share theirs.

Hi rmbsoft,

Thanks for your response, I think you’re right with your explanation.

The adlink update of my app is just 2 weeks old so I only can give you a small basis for comparison.

My average is around 60 clicks /download [import]uid: 106768 topic_id: 25797 reply_id: 136294[/import]

Hi all:
I just check my dashboard of revmob today.
Find the report seems very strange . The Impressions seems not update…
I also test my app , I find the request result from revmob return nil. and it can not show any fullscreen and ads anymore.
Is anyone have the same problem ?
[import]uid: 143797 topic_id: 25797 reply_id: 136312[/import]

Same here, half through the day, all of a sudden i had all zeros. No impressions, clicks or installs.

So I ran my app, it showed me the ad, updated the list, and it gave me 1 impression. Soon after that I got more impressions and clicks from others, and it seems to be working again. Very strange, like I triggered something.

Don’t know what’s going on.
