Something I’ve been itching for for a while is the ability to place the corners of sprites directly.
Only having height / width / rotation control can be limiting, and makes impossible any psuedo-3D effect.
Corona does have this feature in the roadmap, but it is part of the larger graphics 2.0 update, which is likely to be a very long time away (based both on the complexity of whatever they are updating, and the speed of other updates).
I feel that the feature is useful enough to warrant its own update - it does not entail so many ‘under the hood’ changes that graphics features such as dynamically getting / setting images and pixels requires, and the core engine naturally already supports it.
As a result, I’ve posted to the feedback / request page asking for it ASAP
