A few hours from now it will be exactly two weeks since the Techority 48 Hour Challenge began. The challenge was organized by Peach Pellen with a lot of generous prize contributions from Ansca, Lime, the Beebes, J.A. Whye, uDESIGN.me, and others.
I had a ton of fun doing it, and was obviously very happy with the result. One thing that I did regret, though, is that I never got to see any of the other apps. All I got were a couple of screenshots.
I’m thinking about posting my source code and assets soon, exactly as they were when I submitted my game, but in the meantime I decided to create a video of the game, just for fun. It’s about 4.5 minutes, so maybe a bit long … I guess I had a lot to say, LOL!
Thanks! My eyes popped out when I saw your app. The graphics are sooo nice! (I’m always a little jealous when I see such nice looking artwork - I wish I could do that!) What app did you use on the iPad?
Your post mortem is excellent. Very interesting and informative. I’ll have to look into Dropbox; it seems like a great tool to have in your collaboration toolkit.

I used SketchBook Pro by AutoDesk. It’s a very fluid app and a lot fun to use. My next blog will be about how I went about making the scenes and how easy it is. I’ve already gotten a few gigs with that posting. The funny thing is that I program for a living and the art is just something I do to relax.

OK now you’re just making me mad!!!
You’re just altogether too talented, sir. Stop it.
I’m following you on Twitter now so I won’t miss any more of your blog entries. I look forward to the next one!

Just a quick question, how did you record game footage from the iPhone, or did you launch the simulator and record your computer’s screen? [import]uid: 36054 topic_id: 7754 reply_id: 27545[/import]
I ran it in the simulator in iPhone4 mode and recorded everything via ScreenFlow. I tried Camtasia, but I liked ScreenFlow better.
