Hello!
I have been evaluating Corona SDK for the past few weeks, and I must say I really enjoy it. I am planning on purchasing a full license for iPhone and Android in the coming weeks, but I had a few Android related questions I was hoping to get answered before I pull the trigger.

I am using the Asynchronous network.request method for consuming data from a Web Service - which is really nice and I have tested it on an iPod touch. I tried on my Android phone and I noticed it didn’t work. So after some investigation I saw that it is only supported by iOS. So my question, is it every going to be supported by Android?

For testing on Android I am using http.request that works, but it is not Asynchronous and it seems to be slower - but that may be for other reasons that I will have to do more testing to determine. So my second question is would I be able to detect whether I am building for Android or iOS and use the appropriate code, or would I have to alter the code and then build?

Lastly I was just wondering about everyones experiences with graphics and applications for the iPhone 4’s resolution and the original iPhone resolution. How do you handle this? I unfortunately do not have an iPhone 4 so I will be unable to see what my app looks like outside the simulator. Is the simulator a good judge of what my app will look like on device?
Thanks so much! [import]uid: 28005 topic_id: 7368 reply_id: 307368[/import]
