A few questions about admob...

We were considering adding Admob to the list of providers we use, but I have a few questions that I can’t find answer to.

  1. The Admob-v2 plugin - The docs for it say that you need to use daily build 2014.2264 or later. I’ve downloaded the daily build enterprise plugin files for build 2014.2511,  and the admob folder only contains a 2013.1076 folder which makes me think that it has outdated libs in it. The SDK jar file inside was GoogleAdMobAdsSdk-6.3.1.jar, but on this page it says that anything prior to 6.4.1 is outdated. Are the correct libs available somewhere?

  2. Does the Corona ads support showing admob video interstitials? As far as I can tell you set the type of interstitials you would like to see on the Admob console, but I just wanted to check whether there was a Corona side issue that would prevent this from working.

Hi QuizTix,

I use AdMob interstitials. I have text, image and video selected on the AdMob portal (for ad type) and I receive video ads (as well as text/image).

I have no control over which interstitial type I receive but it works well enough for me. I’m a Pro user and I’m referring to iOS. Sorry, I can’t comment on the enterprise aspect.

Is anyone from Corona able to confirm the status of the enterprise plugins?

I have no control over which interstitial type I receive but it works well enough for me. I’m a Pro user and I’m referring to iOS. Sorry, I can’t comment on the enterprise aspect.
