I’m looking for a good lua editor, possibly with auto compilation!

No editor with auto compilation. Lua files do not compile on simulator, they are just read and ran.
Sublime Text 2 seems to be a favorite for many Corona developers. Some 3rd parties have put together some Lua/Corona helpers for it that you can install, but out of the box, it just does Lua syntax highlighting. It’s not a free editor, but it’s really good at what it does.
