Probably not the best place to put this and so if the admins wish to delete it fair enough.

I’m always of the belief that people complain but never really offer praise when praise is due, so I just wanted to add my two cents here.

I’ve been stuck in my own code for too many months now, so just decided to have a break and browse through the code exchange directory.

WOW - there is some truly inspirational material in there and I just wanted to say a big thanks to everybody who contributes there. You guys (you know who you are) are helping to push the boundaries of what’s possible in Corona and help people like myself develop their ambitions and understanding of the platform.

Massive admiration and appreciation for every contributor, you’re making Corona a very special, community driven platform.

yes spent a couple hours in it last night myself. I don’t think it gets aknowledged enough there’s a lot of good stuff in there although I did notice it could use a search button with option to filter and to be able to search by user name. Code Exchange is part of my daily “routiene”
I spend about an hour a day browsing around.

I hit ansca code exchange, hit forums, read stuff, reply back, etc etc. Hit techority.com, learningcorona.com.

I have saved EVERY piece of code from code exchange to my folder called “code sets” which is my tool box of sorts when I’m coding and I need something.

It truly is very helpful, and yea the raycasting engine is spectacular. That is crazy impressive! It’s old school but it’s cool as it’s in corona which is cool in itself.
