Is there a way to change a config file from main.lua? Thanks.

No.  It wouldn’t matter anyways.  The info in config.lua should be considered static.  Changing it would not affect your app after it launched.

Tell us that and we may have a way you can get the ‘behavior’ you want without trying to change config.lua.
