My recommendation would be to put a print statement before and after each line that might be causing this error. I suspect that the error happens either when you load an image or a sound file.

Try something like the following:

Then run your application and look at the log. The print statement right before each “System.err” statement in your log will likely be the cause of the error that follows it.
