I noticed there’s no field to enter keywords about the application when creating the apk and neither in the Android Developer Console when publishing it. So, I don’t understand how it possible to find an app when searching it by keywords except if I write exactly the name of the app. Is it in the manifest file? If yes, how access it with Corona SDK? Keywords are not in the apk, and they are not anywhere in your code or build.
You enter your keywords on the website of whichever platform you are submitting for:
- itunesconnect.apple.com for Apple App Store
- developer.amazon.com for Amazon Appstore
- nookdeveloper.barnesandnoble.com for Nook Store
- play.google.com/apps/publish for Google Play Store
*NOTE: As of 8/12/12 keywords are not utilized by Nook’s search algorithm, so an app can only be found in the Nook Store by searching for the app’s title. They are aware of this and are working to fix it. [import]uid: 42083 topic_id: 29773 reply_id: 119467[/import]
