I’d like to request access to the Contacts/Address book for business apps.

In Ansca’s defense, the new mail and SMS popup allows you to set the “To” field from the popup which has access to the contacts at that point, but there are many uses where you want to control displaying the contacts so that to field is pre-populated. I’m not sure what you mean. Could you elaborate?
Thanks,

Hi Matt:
I spoke too soon. What I was referring to was the last post by @robmiracle

Basically the popup gives the user access to their contact book from that popup, so they can add, change to, cc and bcc entries. It’s Apple’s way to prevent spam since the user has to actually agree to send the message.
But you the programmer have no access to the contacts so I can’t let the user make a list of say their closest friends so they don’t have to scroll through a 1000 contacts.

+1 for addressbook. Would be very nice. Google Android IAP/Amazon Android IAP, Android push/local notifications are most important tho.

+1. Would be useful, but in the mean time I can get by with the pop up.
