In the tutorial code, did you copy the entirety of code outlined, including the creation of the button itself which calls the popup? Also, in your code, I see two local declarations of “button”, one outside the function scope and one inside, so those aren’t the same object. Also, I don’t see where you’ve created a button, unless you didn’t include that part in your code. Can I see that aspect please?

I don’t know whether you have found a solution; however I can confirm that the activity plugin causes the app to crash as soon as the share application (e.g. email text etc) is quit.
This happens only on my iPod (IOS version 6.1.6), but not on my iPad (IOS version 8.3), so likely to be related to IOS version.
I noticed the feature is only supported on IOS 7
So given the relatively few users of IOS 6, it might be OK to disable the functionality if it is possible to read the IOS version. How to do this?
