Any news on this? I’m currently thinking of using the IMEI, but I’ve heard reports that 10% of IMEI are not unique! [import]uid: 11757 topic_id: 780 reply_id: 61550[/import]

I’m not 100% sure about this but didn’t apple say developers were not allowed to use UDID requests due to user privacy? [import]uid: 13560 topic_id: 780 reply_id: 61565[/import]

not sure whether it’s allowed or not, but looks like UDID has been deprecated in the latest SDK (iOS5). Instead, they suggest “create a unique identifier specific to your app … using CFUUIDCreate” [import]uid: 49447 topic_id: 780 reply_id: 61579[/import]
