Additive, darken, and other blend modes?

I cannot seem to find if there’s a way to set a blending mode for a display object or image. Stuff like additive alpha, which is very common for special effects, glows, and particle systems. Not full custom pixel shaders, but the common fixed pipeline blending modes like add, subtract, lighter, darker, multiply, etc. Is that in corona? If so, can someone point me to it? If not, can we please request it? It’s pretty imporant for effects animations.

Thx

It is not implemented. Sure you can request it. Post it in the request forum section. [import]uid: 5712 topic_id: 1390 reply_id: 3849[/import]

yeah… go go  people may wake up and implement some more advance stuff than moving solid images around… [import]uid: 6928 topic_id: 1390 reply_id: 3853[/import]

And christmas and new years will be celebrated on the same day in the western world. LOL [import]uid: 5712 topic_id: 1390 reply_id: 3857[/import]

OK, I’ve posted it to the feature request forum. Hopefully it will be easy to add, since the basic modes have been built into openGL since 1.1/1.2 [import]uid: 1065 topic_id: 1390 reply_id: 3877[/import]

I added it to our features bucket.

Thanks
