Admob interstitial bug with scrolling native.newTextBox

Has anyone experienced this: After showing interstitial Admob ads, scrolling native.newTextBox won’t scroll anymore?

I’m testing with all three ad networks (all interstitial), disabled one at a time, and played with different combinations. Only after an Admob ad is shown, the textbox stops scrolling. Is this a bug with Admob?

Tested: iOS 9.1 on iPhone 6 Plus, iPad mini 2 & iPad 4, daily build 2015.2781

P.S. The height of the scrolling / non-editable native.newTextBox was adjusted programmatically after it was created.

Thanks,

Dave

This is a known bug. I believe engineering is working on it.

Thanks Rob, good to know. Cheers, Dave

The latest daily build is still having this issue. Any update on this bug fix?

Thanks,

Dave

The bugs are being worked on, no ETA yet.

This bug has been around for a few months without any fix, and is preventing me from using Admob on iOS. Any update appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave

Let me see what’s going on.

We have two filed bug reports on this. The one with a testable project does not demonstrate the problem any more. We believe it was fixed when we updated the SDK a while back. The other test case does not have a usable test project.

Since you are still experiencing this, please submit a new bug report. Bug reports need to be a complete app that is the minimal code to demonstrate the problem. There must be a main.lua, build.settings and config.lua along with any other assets needed. Please compress the folder with the project into a .zip file and use the Report a bug link at the top of the page. Describe the problem, include a link to this forum post and after you submit the bug, you should get an email with a Case ID in it. Please post it back here for reference purposes.

Thanks

Rob

Thanks Rob, I’ll test again, and submit another bug report as advised if it’s still not fixed.

Cheers,

Dave
