AdMob-Plugin asks for user location on iOS

Hello,

I just bought and implemented the AdMob-Plugin form the Corona Marketplace.

However, since that the app occasionally asks the user for using his location when showing an interstitial ad (on iOS).

The app itself does not use location services at all.

Is there any way to avoid this?

Hi Björn,

I don’t think it should be asking for access to Location Services. Are you absolutely sure that the app doesn’t use any API or functionality that would prompt for location services? These can vary from numerous functionalities.

Can you please download and install the AdMob sample app and see if you get similar requests for location services?

You can disable location data in the AdMob dashboard for your apps.
