Is there any issue?

Thanks

Same here. What happened to admob plugin?

As coronalabs gone DOWN?  :o  :frowning:

So, we know that admob plugin was deprecated.

The problem is, it seems that admob cannot be initialised with ads library anymore.

Ok the problem has been resolved for me.

In my build.settings, I have

[“plugin.google.play.services”] =

{

   publisherId = “com.coronalabs”,

   supportedPlatforms = { android=true, [“android-kindle”]=true },

},

for admob-v2.

When I remove supportedPlatforms line, it works as expected.

So final version is:

[“plugin.google.play.services”] =

{

   publisherId = “com.coronalabs”,

},

Strange but this is mine and its still same issue :frowning:

    [“plugin.google.play.services”] =

      {

        publisherId = “com.coronalabs”,

      },

Update:

I had this also in my build.settings and when I removed it, it worked even with the line “supportedPlatforms = { android=true, [“android-kindle”]=true },” in the google play plugin

    [“CoronaProvider.ads.admob”] =

      {

        – required

        publisherId = “com.coronalabs”,

      },

So question is, I remember when I tried submitting on itunes without the above " [“CoronaProvider.ads.admob”] " and it failed so is there a permanent fix or best config for both Google Play and Itunes?

Did you remove old admob plugin request from build.settings?

[“CoronaProvider.ads.admob”] =

{

   publisherId = “com.coronalabs”

},

This must be removed.

Yes I did and it worked but Admob did not work when I submitted on Itunes until I added that line :frowning:
