AdMob Plugin GMA SDK

Hello,
Is it possible to update the AdMob plugin to a newer version of the Google Mobile Ads SDK?
It currently on version 23.5.0, but the latest version is 24.8.0.
Many mediation connectors require newer versions to works better.

I made an issue (update the com.google.android.gms:play-services-ads version · Issue #14 · coronalabs/com.coronalabs-plugin.admob · GitHub) for this on Github in August but nothing happened till now.
