AdMob versions

Am I correct that there are 2 adMob versions, one paid, one free?

I’m trying the free because I have no idea whether there will be enough revenue to justify the paid version.

Finding monetization a pain because documentation is thin. Already given up on Revmob and inmobi.

We announce last month that the free one is going away. If you want AdMob you need to use the paid one. If you are unsure about your ad revenue, we recommend going with one of our many other free ad plugins.  Why did you give up on Revmob and InMobi?

What do you feel is missing from the documentation?

Rob

Documentation: A complete example of a typical ad placement. The docs assumed we already knew what the details of what ad providers mean by terms like placementID.

The inmobi page points to an example on github that doesn’t exist.

Overall, a lot of frustration.

Trying inmobi again.

Error: Get plugin failed.

[“CoronaProvider.ads.inmobi”] =

            publisherId = “com.coronalabs”,

        },

Looks like there are 2 inmobi sets of docs

https://docs.coronalabs.com/plugin/ads-inmobi/ (bad github link)

https://docs.coronalabs.com/daily/plugin/inmobi/index.html

How did you get to the bad link?  We should not have that indexed any where.  The actual link you should use is:

https://docs.coronalabs.com/plugin/inmobi/index.html

It’s the same as the second link, but in the main API, not the daily version. Usually plugins don’t have daily build specific versions, so at the end of the day, they end up showing the same content.

Thanks

Rob
