I started on Inneractive because a friend used them and had some moderate success. Plus, the ease of implementation in Corona made it an attractive choice for a Corona newbie like I was.
I had one app that was having success, and I started it out on Inneractive. On average, I was making $1-$3 per day in ad revenue. My best day, I think I hit $8. I did a ton of research and decided to switch to RevMob…and I am SO GLAD that I made the switch. My ECPMs skyrocketed and I went from making a couple of dollars a day to making $30-$50 per day. Best day I had was over $80…in one day. Granted, I had good traffic on my app, but what a difference it made.
I changed all of my apps to RevMob and haven’t looked back. ECPMs are still at a great number by my standards. It’s fantastic supplemental income for me.
On top of all of that, I had several instances with Inneractive where my account would be disabled for no reason. I couldn’t log in, and I couldn’t access my account at all. The first time that happened, I spent 3 days trying to get in touch with someone at Inneractive. They had silently disabled my account because it “looked to be spammy”. Really? How is that even possible? I had to jump through hoops to get it turned back on. Their communication was awful and it really just made me mad. Wouldn’t you at least TRY to contact a customer before killing their account? I certainly didn’t get reimbursed for the several days of revenue that I missed out on…but hey, it was only a few dollars anyway, so who cares?
Anyway, I’m not a fan of Inneractive. RevMob on the other hand has been very responsive to the few emails that I’ve sent them, and generally much easier to work with.
That’s my opinion…it’s worth what I’m charging you for it.
