I get the following message in the log:
You are currently using version 7.16.0 of the SDK. Please consider updating your SDK to the most recent SDK version.
I don’t receive any live banner ads in admob with the new app. Testmode is working fine btw.
Can I still upload the app or is the plugin to old?
That message is harmless. The plugin currently uses iOS SDK 7.16.0 which was released in December 2016.
It looks like AdMob has released iOS SDK 7.17.0 two weeks ago. I’ll schedule an update of the plugin, however there’s no need to wait for it if you have a deadline to meet.
You mention you can’t see banner ads. Have you checked the device logs for any error messages?

Regarding the banner ads I have checked the device logs but couldn’t find anything suspicious. Maybe there isn’t enough ads to show right now?
Since testMode is working fine, I’d say that your implementation seems to be ok.
