So I know there is a hack for including admob support. Searching (which really needs some work done to be useful) for advertising also got a hit for something with adwhirl, but I could never find the actual post, just umpteen forum thread pages.
So… I guess I’ll ask the question outright and see if anyone has any other solutions.
First, what I’m hoping to accomplish: I have an app which will have a list of say 5 words it will be displaying as results. I would like to hook up to an advertising engine which lets me give it those 5 words and return to me an ad to display having something to do with at least one of those words.
I’ve looked at admob, but I’m not sure I can accomplish this with them. Seems like they want to scan your webpage (or pages) and feed ads based on that.
At any rate… is admob still the only advertising option available with Corona and does anyone know of an ad serving service which can do what I’m envisioning?
