Ok so we have a client who wants us to do an app for them. in the app there will be a game, and we have looked at the ghost vs demo (angry bird clone) and it works for them. Obviously we are using a whole world of different artwork, storyline, etc. the only thing we are using as a base is the mechanics. Now I know thats what the examples are for, but when naming the game, can we use the word 'Angry" in the title? The game has no birds whatsoever and the storyline has nothing to do with angry birds. I am wondering if anyone has a bit of advice, legal or otherwise on this. If I need to go into more detail about the story I can a bit, but the naming is what I need some info on right now.
