Can i add the COPPA compliantAgecheq SDK to my app using the FREE Starter version of Corona SDK?
I also want to use a Parental Gate to link to my external website as an alternative to using IAP - which i might use if i upgrade to Basic / Pro account.
Thanks in advance
They seem to have specific support for Corona SDK and it uses network.request() which is available to all tiers.

Thanks @Rob. So that sounds like a YES.
I am surprised there is so little on these forums about Agecheq considering this company has developed an SDK specifically for Corona. I wonder if most of them even know or care about COPPA.
I had never heard of them before. I’m sure anyone building kid oriented apps are aware of COPPA, but most developers will post a privacy policy and if targeting kids under 13, they will build in a parental gate. There has been plenty of discussion on parental gates in the forums and with the combination of a privacy policy and keeping young kids out of areas they don’t belong seems to be sufficient for most people…
As far as Agecheq, they want a unique device ID. I’m not sure how you’re going to generate that since Apple doesn’t want people using the UDID and their Advertising ID’s are only for advertising. We can’t spend too much time doing the research for you. You can try it, if it works great, if not, post some questions in the forums and see if the community can help you or contact Agecheq and get support from them.

Apparently the Agecheq folks were on a Corona Geek a while back (Thanks Charles!). You can see that session at:
