Analytics Are Down?

Agreed.  Generally you guys are great about communicating but it’s disheartening that two consecutive questions about this (in this thread on march 27 and march 29) either slipped through the cracks or were ignored.  Analytics are a fundamental tool for those of us trying to make a living at this.

Also, I get that you’ve probably been busting your tails preparing for the new release.  But we pay for Corona and analytics are part of that package and forgive me if I’m wrong but we weren’t given much of a warning and haven’t received much of a status since they went down.

Yes, you all have good points. We took them down without much warning and we haven’t communicated clearly when they are coming back. Guilty as charged. Seriously

And I appreciate your reasonableness.

I don’t have an answer for you right now (not because someone at the company doesn’t know, but I’m not even in the office). I will say that the last couple of weeks have been a blur with everyone working super hard on the public release and the other things we announced today. But I will find out in the next day or so and get back to you.

David,

I posted (Friday night … terrible timing I realize) a lengthy request for an update here

http://forums.coronalabs.com/topic/33751-please-explain-your-handling-of-analytics-to-this-very-frustrated-customer/

Launching a new product that has a huge chunk of it’s functionality advertised, but missing is not very cool guys.

Guys, I just posted to this other thread:

http://forums.coronalabs.com/topic/33751-please-explain-your-handling-of-analytics-to-this-very-frustrated-customer/

But the point is that this should be up by tomorrow. We are really shooting for that and are very close.

Sorry about the slippage.

David

David - I’m writing to check in on this.  Please let us know when you have an ETA and more details.  Thanks.

Hey guys - we just discussed this. Analytics should be back by the end of this week.

Thanks, David.  I appreciate the prompt response.

Thanks David.  Will we retain our historical period?  Will we have data for this interim period?

[edit] I meant historical data not historical period [/edit]

As you have probably realized, we have run across a couple of new issues and therefore delays. I am very sorry and I’m embarrassed that I have now given specific dates twice and we have not delivered. My apologies again. Rest assured we are working hard on this…

the volume of data you have to be prepared to deal with is insane so I get it.  I appreciate the proactive update - a reasonable level of transparency is really all I care about and you guys are getting better at that - your product is great and I appreciate the opportunities it’s opened for me.

Hey David,

How are things looking?  Also, if we’re not getting them tomorrow can you let us know re:the historical data and the interim period?

Thanks

-Joe

Tick, tick, tick - it’s Friday already here in Australia - any sign of Analytics?
