Android and OpenFeint

I’m having a bit of a problem with our port of Kunundrum over to Android. OpenFeint loads up fine, everything else works fine, we have been approved and enabled on OpenFeints side, I have the same package identifier both when I compile and on the OF side, but when I go in I have no achievements and no leaderboards. When I check my iOS build I’m fine everything is in there.

Am I missing something basic and fundamental? I’m pulling my hair out here trying to get to the bottom of this. I’ve scoured over the forums but haven’t really found much in the way of an answer to what I’m looking for. More just on getting OF to load, which isn’t an issue.

you must setting on the OpenFeint,make sure the android is available and the versions don’t 0.

If it is simply a matter of leadboards/achievements not showing up when you launch Openfeint in the app then this may be the Openfeint “bug”.

Many people have had the issue on iOS as well with these things not showing up- sometimes it fixes itself after a day or two, other times an email to OF is needed to resolve the issue.

Nah, I gave up and never went back to it. For all I know if could be working, but when it wasn’t we just stripped it out fully. We wanted our app out and couldn’t wait for broken implementations on who evers side it may have been to sort itself out. [import]uid: 54327 topic_id: 20518 reply_id: 96941[/import]

I actually spoke with a user recently having this issue (it’s an OF problem, not Corona specific) and they told me that in their case simply making a new app in their OF dashboard did it for them.

Not sure if you want to try that or not, just felt it was worth mentioning.

Just an update on the problem we had before. We emailed Openfeint to ask if they could resolve the problem. They got back to us and told us the problem was that we didn’t tick the check box to allow the achievement to be used with Android. You will be able to find the option by going into each of your achievements and scrolling down. Same applies to highscore i suppose. [import]uid: 39846 topic_id: 20518 reply_id: 97062[/import]
