Android device opens app to black screen

I’m working on a simple app using groups for screen switching and just when I thought I had everything worked out, I was testing the build thus far on both iphone and android platforms. It works in the emulators, but on the Android Device (froyo 2.2) I get a black screen on launch.
I’ve tried different build versions, setting the alpha on the main launch to 100, checking the config.lua file, all with no luck.
Anyone got anything to help on this one?

What happens when you run it through the debugger? If you don’t see any errors, post your code. I’ve got a device running 2.2
